Help leaders recognize change, connect the right expertise, develop shared awareness, preserve learning, and act before the Decision Window closes.
SCALE™ gives boards, executives, leadership teams, advisors, and operating groups a practical way to examine whether their organization can move from an initial indication of change to informed judgment and timely action.
Tom Staskiewicz brings SCALE™ into leadership conversations through speaking, executive briefings, facilitated discussions, and private advisory sessions.
When Change Moves Faster Than Organizational Judgment
Organizations rarely run out of information. They run out of time.
A signal appears but is not recognized. Context is lost as an observation crosses organizational boundaries. Relevant expertise is never reached. Awareness is created without the context needed to understand the implications for Organizational Capability. Learning arrives too late to improve future readiness.
By the time leadership comprehends what is happening, the opportunity to prepare, redirect, contain, or prevent the consequence may already be disappearing.
SCALE™ helps leaders examine the organizational capabilities required to recognize change and act while action can still matter.
Speaking
Tom speaks to boards, executive teams, professional associations, conferences, governance groups, technology leaders, risk functions, auditors, and cross-functional operating teams.
Each presentation can be adapted to the audience, industry, organizational challenge, and time available.

The Decision Window Is Closing
Explore the two windows surrounding every consequential decision: the time available to understand and prepare, and the time remaining to act.
SCALE™ Is Not Another Framework
Learn how SCALE™ can be used to evaluate whether a framework, architecture, process, model, agent, or AI deployment supports the complete path from recognition to judgment and action.
AI Time Compression™
Consider what happens when technology can recommend, decide, or act faster than responsible people can recognize change, comprehend its implications, exercise judgment, and intervene.
The Expertise Supply Chain™
Examine how automation, workforce transitions, retirements, and the loss of hands-on experience can weaken the development and availability of future organizational judgment.

Private Advisory Conversations
Some questions do not require a project. They require focused access to experience, perspective, and judgment.
Tom offers private advisory conversations through Intro.co for founders, executives, board members, advisors, and organizational leaders confronting a defined question, emerging concern, consequential decision, or unexpected change.
Sessions are available in 15-minute increments, up to a maximum of one hour.
A conversation may help you:
* Clarify the question that actually requires judgment
* Separate an observation from the explanation attached to it
* Identify assumptions that may no longer hold
* Recognize missing expertise, context, or organizational connections
* Examine what leadership may not yet see
* Consider how much Decision Window remains
* Determine an appropriate next step
These are focused discussions only. They do not include advance document review, formal investigation, written analysis, implementation, or continuing support.

When a Conversation Is Not Enough
A conversation can clarify the question. It cannot independently establish organizational facts, examine evidence across functions, reconstruct missing context, or determine where accountability, visibility, expertise, judgment, and authority have separated.
When the matter requires broader examination, the next step may be an Executive Governance Review.
The Executive Governance Review is designed to identify governance exposure before it becomes operational, financial, regulatory, or reputational consequence.
About Tom Staskiewicz
Tom Staskiewicz is the creator of SCALE™ and founder of UPproach.
Across decades of work in technology, security, governance, operations, organizational change, and executive advisory roles, Tom has repeatedly encountered the same underlying problem: the information needed to recognize a consequential change often exists somewhere in the organization, but it does not reach the people capable of comprehending and acting on it before the Decision Window closes.
His experience includes work involving complex technology transitions, enterprise systems, business continuity, security, regulatory remediation, internal controls, organizational dependencies, and AI governance.
Tom holds an MBA from Grand Valley State University and completed the full graduate curricula in both marketing and management and has completed executive education in artificial intelligence through Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and has worked with organizations ranging from entrepreneurial businesses to large enterprises.
His work focuses on a central question:
Can the organization recognize that something has changed, bring the right expertise and context together, develop sufficient understanding, and act while action can still matter?
